Sell What You Grow at a Farmers Market
Whether you work on a small inner city plot or a rural acreage, selling at local green markets is one of the easiest ways to get a big return for your labor. Customers are willing to pay higher retail for quality, and often appreciate making your produce a regular part of their diet. This class provides basic information on the techniques and strategies of market gardening.
Gita Van Woerden is the owner of the Animal Farm Permaculture Center and a vendor at the Bayou City Farmers Market.
Ray Sher sells produce from his backyard garden at the Bayou City Farmers Market.
