Harvest Celebration

The annual Harvest Celebration is an opportunity for community gardens and outdoor classrooms at schools and youth centers to thank the hardworking volunteers and staff who make their gardens successful. On a Saturday each fall, gardeners gather to share a potluck lunch and awards ceremony.

Our Gardens Committee of volunteers coordinates the awards, creating personalized certificates for your volunteers for five, ten, and fifteen years of service. Special awards are also given to honor the exceptional efforts of a few gardens each year.

The 2007 Harvest Celebration was held in November at the Hermann Park Garden Center.
