We teach more than 75 classes per year on a variety of gardening topics. We provide comprehensive instruction in organic gardening basics, fruit gardening and vegetable gardening in the greater Houston area. Topics range from composting to fruit trees. Classes also include permaculture as well as habitat gardens (a common educational feature in school gardens) and how to sell produce at a farmers market.

Permaculture
Permaculture is an ecological, holistic and sustainable design system and philosophy for human living spaces. It is a viable method for finding sustainable solutions to modern problems. It has been successfully used around the world to maximize food production, regenerate springs, cool homes without air conditioning, revive deserts, transform lives, reorganize towns and neighborhoods, reduce pollution, and much else.
