Houston Museum of Natural Science
Angela Chandler

The best place to shop for the freshest veggies and perfectly sun-ripened fruits is right in your own yard. But our garden also need to be lovely! This class will show you how to work edibles into your exiting landscape, or to create a new landscape that is both beautiful and productive, while you still maintain your curb appeal.
Angela Chandler is a lifelong gardener and enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion with others. She and her husband tend a 1/2-arce micro-homestead, growing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and bee-friendly plants. Angela is currently a member of the Garden Writers Association, the California Rare Fruit Growers Association, and the Louisana Society for Horticultural Research, as well as being a retired Texas Master Gardener. She has written feature articles in gardening magazines, appeared as a guest on both TV and radio shows, spoken around the country at various events, and currently teaches a monthly class for the Urban Harvest/Houston Museum of Natural Science. Her website, The Garden Academy, provides its readers with a variety of gardening information geared specifically toward Gulf Coast gardens.
