Description
Casa Juan Diego is a charitable organization providing temporary housing to refugees from Central America and other parts of the world. Their gardens provide an opportunity for the residents to grow their own food, to be prepared in the kitchens at Casa Juan Diego.
Skills & Experience Needed
The staff who coordinate the gardens at Casa Juan Diego need a few volunteers to help with weeding, garden maintenance and occasional planting and harvesting. You would not be working directly with the refugees, although you may see them around, so although spanish is not necessary, it is a plus for this position.
