Norma and Howard are backyard gardeners who started at the farmers market during the early days when our market needed more vendors for the Citrus Festival held every December.  All citrus that they sell are Urban Harvest originals.  That is, the trees are all seedlings that came as a result of the early Urban Harvest citrus tasting classes taught by Dr.Bob Randall and Dr.Stewart Nagle.  They taught the Starrs how to save the seeds and sprout them on top of a refrigerator or other warm spot in the house. We now get enough fruit to share with friends and neighbors, with enough left over to sell some at the market.  Every winter, they come to the market with fairchild tangerines, bloomsweet grapefruit, Mexican grapefruit, satsumas, limequats and lemonquats are Urban Harvest originals.
