Description
The Cranks offer pastured chickens year round, and will be offering ducks and geese based on availability. Their small farm is just outside of Hempstead, Texas, about an hour northwest of Houston. Their chickens and turkeys are free ranged on pasture and are fed a custom feed mix of grains without any antibiotics, hormones, or appetite stimulants. In addition, they feed on pasture grass, bugs, grasshoppers, and whatever they might find in the field. Their pasture is never fertilized or sprayed with chemicals. Starting in June, the Cranks start taking reservations for turkeys for Thanksgiving, and raise them with love for your special dinner. The Cranks offer complementary sample of their chicken that they cook at the market, so stop by and taste the difference.
