Chilies are easy to grow in the Houston area!  This class will cover all types of peppers and heat level, from sweet to mild to hot.  The end of class you’ll know which peppers and chilies work best for your garden to grow year-round for a bountiful harvest!   

This class will discuss:

• How and when to plant peppers
• By Seed or Transplant
• What to feed your plants
• Several varieties that do well in our area
• Learn how the heat index of pepper are measured  

PRESENTER 
Teresa See, Harris County Master Gardener, was born and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated from Texas Women’s University with an Art major and an English minor. She was in the Harris County Master Gardener class of 2005 and has received advanced certification in: Composting, Earth-Kind Landscaping, Propagation, Rainwater Harvesting, Vegetable Gardening, and Water Efficiency.  She has volunteered in many areas of her organization and currently gives most of volunteer time doing presentations and workshops on various topics for Community Centers, garden clubs and other organizations. 

If you cannot attend the class as scheduled, there are no refunds or substitutions. Class recording will be sent to participants as available.
After registration you will receive two emails, one is a receipt and the other will be sent 3 days prior to the class with event details that include zoom link and contact information.
