In-Person Fall Gardening and Nutrition Education
3 CPEs awarded upon completion.  

In this class, participants explore lessons in gardening focused on plant propagation, composting and harvesting to prepare a fresh-from-the-garden recipe.  Activities shared support TEKS objectives in core subjects and the outdoor classroom as an education tool.  Participants will also learn strategies on leveraging community support for shared green spaces. The workshop includes a set of fall transplants, seeds, recipes, and digital access to the Urban Harvest School Garden Guide.  

Featuring The Cultivated Classroom school community garden and culinary arts program at Gregory-Lincoln Education Center. 

 If you cannot attend the class as scheduled, there are no refunds or substitutions. Class recording will be sent to participants as available.  

 Registration will close 24 hours prior to classes Monday - Saturday and 48 hours before all Sunday classes.
