FOREST GARDENING SERIES: CARE OF TREES WITH AN ARBORIST
SAT. 5/13/2023 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
LOCATION: HOUSTON BOTANIC GARDENS
$10
The second installment of our Food Forestry Series, this month we will be joined by three female Houston Arborists on a walk through the Houston Botanic Garden with a special focus on trees and climate change, how to build a food forest, and how to best adapt a plant to a specific site. The tours will include the global gardens collection, the culinary garden, and the native forest.
Walk away inspired to plant more trees, build a food forest in your community or backyard, and help our ecosystems become more resilient to climate change.
Light bites will be provided after the talks, and in the event of inclement weather, the talks will take place indoors.
