Danny Millikin will present on the care of established and older fruit trees and troubleshooting. Kent Keith will have an introduction presentation about Fruit Tree Houston, a non profit organization that rescues fresh local fruit that would otherwise go to waste, to share with people in need. http://fruitsharehouston.org

Presenter: Daniel Millikin is a plant health enthusiast who loves soil, soil biology, root anatomy and the way they all work together. Prior to joining the Organic Horticulture Benefits Alliance as Executive Director. Danny served as Conservation Program Manager at Memorial Park, the Lead Horticulturalist for Hermann Park Conservancy, and previously owned and operated an organic, edible-focused landscaping company. He loves introducing beginner vegetable gardeners and native novices to new or better ways to grow their own plants. Danny hosts the radio show “HomeShow Garden Pros” on SportsRadio 610 every Saturday morning.
