Successful gardening begins with healthy soil. This presentation will cover characteristics of healthy soil for preparing fall vegetable gardens and will provide steps on how to maintain, improve and amend our gumbo clay soil. Secrets of gardening for soil will be unlocked with tips and tricks on how to feed and keep your garden soil enriched by becoming a compost chef!
Sherry Cruse is an Urban Harvest Garden Educator and Texas Master Gardener. She has been teaching adults and children about plants and gardening for nearly 20 years.
If you cannot attend the class as scheduled, there are no refunds or substitutions. Class recording will be sent to participants as available.
Registration will close 24 hours prior to classes Monday - Saturday and 48 hours before all Sunday classes.
