Invite Microgreens into your life! Microgreens are very young plants that are harvested as they are sprouting from the soil instead of waiting for the full vegetable plant to mature and produce. They are very versatile and can be a substitute for salad greens, used as a garnish, or simply added to a dish. They can be grown in the ground or in a container, are super tasty and very nutritious. We’ll dig into the how, why, where, what, when and who (hint: this is you!) of growing them. We will also learn what we can be doing in our gardens during this cold part of the year.  

PRESENTER
Meg Tapp is the President of The Garden Club of Houston and leads workshops focusing primarily backyard vegetable gardening ~ Microgreens is her very latest. She’s a native Houstonian and been gardening all her adult life. You will be entertained as you learn from her experiences in her own garden. She is the plant expert for Houston Matters radio show on Houston Public Media and a regular guest on Home Show Garden Pros Facebook Live show. She also travels around the country as a Horticulture Judge at Garden Club of America Flower Shows. 

There are no refunds or substitutions if you cannot attend a live class for which you signed up. Class recordings will be sent out after the class only as available.
