MAKE AND TAKE TEAS

Each participant will enjoy an individual learning experience as they create their own tea blend with fresh base teas, herbs, and spices. This workshop will highlight the types of teas, the health benefits of teas, and the history of tea. You will have a workstation with a mixing bowl, spoon, and paper tea filters, and a teacup and saucer will be provided to steep and enjoy your personal custom tea blend.

Presenter

Brenda Preuss, Co-owner and Production Manager for TEAinTEXAS & Events, LLC. After working 30 years in the corporate world of insurance, Brenda decided to utilize her BS in Agriculture Business by joining a local tea company. Ten years later she became a co-owner and never looked back. In the past decade, she has taken numerous tea classes and has obtained certifications including Tea specialist, Tea Health Expert, and Tea Sommelier. Brenda considers herself a "Tea Nerd". She loves everything related to tea, especially the actual tea plants, different tea cultures, and the history of tea. It excites her to share her knowledge and educate people about the world of tea. She has shared a cup or two with friends, family, clients, customers, and just about anyone who enjoys taking time for tea.

Registration will close 24 hours before classes Monday-Saturday and 48 hours before Sunday classes.
