Native Plants are beautiful, water-saving, pollinator-friendly, low maintenance, and in demand. As we increase our use of Native Plants, one of the easiest ways to grow more is to propagate your own. This class will teach you native plant propagation starting with seed collecting, germination, seed storing, and more.

Presenter

Mark Morgenstern started out growing vegetables, then native plants, and found his niche growing native Prairie Plants. In 2014, Mark started Morning Star Prairie LLC. Active in the Native Plant Society Houston Chapter, Native Prairie Association of Texas, and Urban Harvest you can find Mark at the Farmers Market every Saturday morning selling and educating people about Native Plants.

Registration will close 24 hours prior to classes Monday-Saturday and 48 hours before all Sunday classes.
