Join us in the kitchen at Cucharita for this hands-on salsa-making and tasting experience. The cooks at Cucharita will guide you as you chop, roast, grind, and blend to create and taste seven unique salsas. Learn the skills and tricks to take your salsa-making skills to the next level!
Ana Beaven is a native of CDMX who fell in love with authentic Mexican food at a very young age because of her grandmother, who she considers the best cook she has ever known.
With retail experience and a passion for design, she ventured into opening an authentic Mexican restaurant that served more than food. Mexican culture and holidays were a big part of the conception of "Cuchara". It has become one of Houston's favorites for the last 11 years.
Noticing the need to expand the kitchen to catch up with the growing catering business, "Cucharita" was born. It is a cozy bakery, breakfast, and lunch place with fresh juices, coffees, and cocktails.
Just like Cuchara, it represents Mexico at its best, in a more romantic and old-school way.
Registration will close 24 hours before classes Monday-Saturday and 48 hours before Sunday classes.
