URBAN HARVEST EDIBLE ACADEMY: SPRING GARDENING AND NUTRITION EDUCATION
SAT 2/8/2020, 9:00AM – 1:00PM GREGORY-LINCOLN EDUCATION CENTER PVA, $50
A 4-hour teacher garden workshop of seed-to-plate lessons! In the garden, we will prepare beds for spring weather planting and enjoy a seasonal harvest. After we wash up, participants will put on chef aprons in the culinary classroom and prepare a tasty recipe with the garden produce for a light lunch. 4 CPE's. Workshop Flyer

Cost: $50 includes refreshments, seeds, transplants and seasonal recipes in addition to the School Gardening Guide and CPEs.

There are two schools on Taft Street, between W. Gray and Dallas. Gregory-Lincoln is the one with the half moon driveway and the garden on the north side of the school. Please park in the school parking lot located on the south side of the school or in the parking spaces in front of the school, near the garden. You may also park on the streets around the school; please observe any no parking signs.
