ABOUT: Shannon Smith Waiter, founder of The Everyday Bakeshop, began her career in communications before finding herself pursuing her passion for cooking. After attending The Culinary Institute LeNotre, Shannon found herself staging in the award winning kitchens of Oxheart and Noma in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Naturally, Shannon found a way to combine her culinary knowledge and background with her marketing, public relations and social media experience. Shannon then moved on to work in marketing and public relations while starting The Everyday Bakeshop in 2018. Shannon calls herself a “Cookie Monster” and believes in eating a cookie everyday, hence the name “The Everyday Bakeshop.” Shannon, with the help of her husband Austin, bakes traditional cookies with a twist and custom cookies in hopes of bringing everyone else the joy she feels when eating a cookie.
