ABOUT: Co-founders Justin Berry and Treasure Hance came to farming with a shared belief that food should heal our bodies, our ecosystems, and our communities. Justin shifted from the tech world to the land, and Treasure followed her passion for health and sustainability. Together, alongside their pack of farm dogs, they raise grassfed and finished beef and lamb, pastured heritage pork, and pasture raised chickens and eggs with a commitment to soil health, animal welfare, and intentional stewardship. At The Farm at Bald Hill, farming is not just a business but a responsibility to the land and our community.
MISSION: Our mission is to steward the land through regenerative agriculture and raise clean, nutrient-dense proteins that nourish people and the planet. Rooted in the Piney Woods of East Texas, we honor the belief that healthy soil grows healthy food, and that food should heal. We farm with intention, prioritizing soil health, animal welfare, and community. Through grassfed and finished beef and lamb, pastured heritage pork, and pasture-raised chicken and eggs, we work to restore ecosystems, support resilient food systems, and reconnect people to where nourishment truly begins.
FUN FACT: Their first date involved a high kick competition. Winner is still TBD.
